Our Red Angus cattle are raised on a mostly grass-fed diet and supplemented with our own custom mix of grain. The grain helps with fat development which gives more flavor and tenderness to the beef. The hanging weight of our cattle average 500-700 pounds. Hanging weight is the remaining weight after the cow has been slaughtered. When you purchase a custom butchered quarter, half, or whole cow, you can expect to walk away with about 60%-70% of the hanging weight to fill your freezer.
You can have your half or whole cow custom butchered to get the cuts of meat that you want. Limited choices are available with quarter cuts.
